Community
Several of our staff have been affected by the loss of sick children over the years, as far back as their own childhoods. As such, they and we have always (personally) supported those who are looking for the cures to save families from heartache, or to give them the help they need to stay close during treatment. In the name of “community,” we chose to bring that care to Horror on Main and are continuing that practice here on The Grim Market.
Choosing to put our efforts toward our own local area, we collect donations for the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central PA, in Hershey. They have been operating in Hershey since 1984, and for more than 40 years, have provided comfort, care, and a place where family stays.
We offer two ways for people to participate. We have a donation section for our vendors when they get their tables, and we have a large jar at the ticket counter for attendees. At the end of each event, we match whatever donations were received and then either do a cash donation via their website or send them as much as we possibly can from their Amazon wish list.
The Ronald McDonald House “keeps families together in a comforting and safe environment while their children receive essential medical care” and we are more than happy to help them on that mission.

A community is more than a shared taste or experience, it’s a bonded group of people who do great things when working as a team. We welcome everyone to our community and are proud to give back to it.
